Friends & Family Speaker Series: LGBTQ+|Allies

In partnership with the Coronado Public Library, join Safe Harbor Coronado for a vibrant conversation about the LGBTQ+ community, how to speak the language, and what it means to be an ally. Our speaker is Holly Reese (she/her/hers), the Director of Advocacy and Training at The LGBTQIA+ Center of Southern Nevada. She worked with Gender Justice Nevada, a transgender-focused non-profit, and helped establish Las Vegas TransPride. Holly creates a safe place to ask questions and dive into untangling the alphabet soup while discussing current social issues and moving towards a greater understanding of today’s queer culture.
