PAWS Cat & Dog Adoption Update!

In response to recent direction from our Governor and City officials relative to COVID-19 restrictions, PAWS of Coronado has evaluated the best way to provide our services to the community. Due to the small size of our facility, we will continue to be open by appointment only for services. Starting May 18th we will begin processing adoptions on an appointment basis as well. If you are considering adoption, please visit the adoptions page on our website and submit an online application if you are interested in one of our animals. Our adoption team members will contact you and explain the process we are using during the pandemic.

Thanks so much to our community for the support during this time. Due to the number of families who volunteered to foster, we’ve been able to place most of our animals in foster homes while we waited for restrictions to be lifted. Our cats and dogs are so thankful! We look forward to finding them forever homes starting next week.

Appointments for all other services at the Coronado Animal Care Facility can be made by calling 619-522-7371 or emailing visittheshelter@pawsofcoronado.org.
