This past weekend was full of events and excitement in beautiful Coronado, CA. The annual Coronado Flower Show was in full bloom Saturday and Sunday in Spreckels Park. This year’s theme was “A Floral Olympiad” in honor of the fast approaching Summer Olympics being held in London this year. The Coronado Flower Show is the largest flower show “held under tents in the nation,” according to the show’s website.
I love attending the Coronado Flower Show every year, and this year was no exception. I had a wonderful time on Sunday, along with my family, as we wandered through all the many tents, the special children’s area, and listened to live music being played on the bandstand. The weather was beautiful, the flower’s stunning, and the beer garden packed. Please enjoy these photos of the blooms and festivities!
