Here’s a great photo of the Monte Carlo shipwreck as seen from a pent-house condo at the Shores. I’m not sure why it is so fascinating to see our local shipwreck every now and then. But just like everyone else, I went for a walk down by the Shores on Sunday to take a peak. It reminded me that I had this photo from exactly 4 years ago. I think that is probably the last time it was this exposed. From this angle you can really see the shape of the ship. I always assumed the tip on the beach was the brow but I think it must be the stern. Maybe someone can comment and let me know. I’m encouraging my guests at the 1906 Lodge to check it out as they may not have the opportunity to see it again for years.
