Greer passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on October 28, 2015.
She was born in San Diego September 13, 1990. She graduated from Coronado High School in 2008 andĀ from Colgate University in 2012, both with honors.
Greer was an accomplished young woman with a wide array of interests. She was as comfortableĀ watching Shakespeare as she was paddle boarding the bay or summiting a High Sierra peak. She was anĀ experienced, adventurous international traveler. She loved a good book, a good beer with friends andĀ family, and a good argument with her brothers (which she seldom lost).
Her favorite sport was lacrosse. She was a Division I player, a coach and mentor to girls from gradeĀ school to college, and a referee. Low key yet confident, she personified the saying,ā Walk softly andĀ carry a big stick.ā
She is survived by her brothers Evan and Glenn, sister-in-law Hallie, parents Renee and Frank,Ā grandparents Joan and Frank Goebels and Jack Brinkman, a raft of aunts, uncles, and cousins, and herĀ beloved corgi, Gus. She was pre-deceased by her Grandmother LaVerne Brinkman.
In leaving us so soon, only God knows what she might have accomplished. She touched so many people,Ā and will be sorely missed.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 am, December 5th at Sacred Heart Church in Coronado, with a receptionĀ to follow. If you care to make a donation in Greerās memory, we would suggest Colgate WomenāsĀ Lacrosse, 13 Oak Dr, Reid Athletic Center, Hamilton, NY 13346, attn: Heather Young, or a charity of your choice.

Note from Publisher:
Greer served as an eCoronado.com intern in 2012/2013. Ā She was a talented writer and more importantly, a wonderful friend to all she worked with and everyone she met while researching her stories.
We areĀ honored that we knew herĀ and are better off because she was in our lives.
