The Coronado Lawn Bowling Club will again host Twilight Open Bowling every Thursday evening beginning May 15 through August 28. Coronado residents and their friends and visitors who have never before rolled a bowl can arrive at any time between 6 PM and sunset, learn to play the game, and will be playing immediately with other beginning bowlers.
It is a fun and casual way to test your interest in the sport. No reservations needed and no fees, just show up in flat soled shoes and have a great time. The CLBC will provide the equipment and will host each open bowling evening. Everyone is encouraged to bring an appetizer and beverage to share in order to further enhance the festivity and demonstrate the real social nature of this game.
Come one, come all to the Coronado Bowling Green at the corner of 7th and D Ave. behind the Coronado Senior center and the Coronado Library for a really fun and free evening. There are junior sized lawn bowls for children and Twilight Open Bowling is very family friendly.
