San Diego Restaurant Week is back for its 13th year, starting this past Sunday and running through this Sunday the 22nd has been extended to January 29th. There are over 180 restaurants participating with prix fixe menus for lunch and/or dinner, with seven of those being right here in Coronado. It’s a great way to try new items at old favorites or find a new favorite spot altogether, all while supporting our local restaurants in the off-season. The Coronado Chamber would like to encourage locals to continue their efforts to “Shop Small” by participating in this week’s Restaurant Week at one of the Coronado locations.
The participating restaurants here in town are Il Fornaio, 1500 Ocean, Leroy’s Kitchen + Lounge, Primavera Ristorante, Peohe’s, Stake Chophouse & Bar and Vigilucci’s. Each is offering up a delicious three-course dinner menu, with Vigilucci’s, Leroy’s and Il Fornaio also offering a two-course lunch option. Lobster West is also offering a special Restaurant Week menu with three courses for just $20. Each of these restaurants are active participants in the community and are also members of the Coronado Chamber.
