Irving J. Gill Interment

The public is invited to attend a burial and graveside ceremony for Irving J. Gill. Gill is considered a pioneer of the modern movement in architecture and his work is prolific in Coronado, San Diego, and the broader Southern California region. His remains were lost for over eight decades, but were recently discovered. They will be interred at a public burial on the 88th anniversary of his death. The Rev. Dr. Mark Hargreaves, rector at St James by the Sea, La Jolla, will preside over the ceremony.
