Adult Education’s Fall 2010 class schedule begins August 25. We have some new and exciting classes along with some new instructors this semester, and are pleased to offer the following:
New classes: Arpillera and Other Folk Arts of Resistance taught by Cynda Fuentes, Creativity Workshop in Art taught by Lee Puffer, Retirement Planning Today taught by Joe Anderson, Introduction to Surfing taught by Ian Urtnowski, Tight Points Yoga taught by Cynthia Mendolia, Total Body Conditioning taught by Renee Cavanaugh, Inventions 101 taught by Eric Hanscom, Introduction to Everything Italian taught by Paulo Wakham, Clearing Space & Creating Dreams taught by Wenndi Freer, Feng Shui: How to Create a Beautiful, Beneficial Bedroom taught by Kathryn Holt, Meditation & Relaxation Techniques taught by Draza Jansky.
In addition to our new classes, we have our traditional offerings of Spanish with Karina Morales, French with Renaud Subra, Yoga with Cynthia Mendolia, Nia Dance Fitness taught by Audrey Dill, Zumba Fitness with Laura Webb, Tennis taught by Allen Levin, Contractor’s License Law Test Preparation taught by Allen Levin, Event & Wedding Planning taught by Joan Whalen, social dance including East Coast Swing, Bolero, Hustle and more with David Vasquez, Line Dance with Diane Rojas, Plein Air Painting taught by Robin Raznick, Woodworking with Elton Lawson, Ceramics with Lee Puffer, Tap dance classes and Pilates classes taught by Marena Bronson, Ballet taught by Gina Sorensen, PC & MAC computer classes including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and more – computer instructors are Mark Rodgers, Will Cattell and Tennille Hopper, Digital Photography and Photoshop taught by Anna Woerman, The Way of Japanese Tea with Florizel Yasuhara, and Culinary for the Home Chef with Leiz Bertram.
We also offer Independent Study, ESL, and a 40+ Basketball League, and Senior Aerobics.
