Because there’s no place like home, the Coronado Cultural Arts Commission and Coronado MainStreet, Ltd are pleased to present “Celebrate OZ!“, a free Coronado community festival set for Saturday, August 2, in Spreckels Park that promises an engaging and entertaining day of music, dance and art.
Celebrate Oz! will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is part of Oz Con International, a 10-day The Wizard of Oz Festival celebrating all things Oz taking place in Coronado and San Diego. http://www.ozconinternational.com
Celebrate Oz! invites dancers, bands, musicians, and all entertainers who live or work in Coronado, to participate. From toddlers to seniors, organizers would like to hear from you. It is an opportunity to share your creativity and be part of an exciting community event.
“We are bringing back the small-town celebration feel and we need you to make it happen,” said Celebrate Oz! Producer Ruben Ludlow. Said Ludlow, whose performance and choreography credits include work for Beyonce, Will Smith and Pitbull: “We’ve had a very enthusiastic response, so don’t delay in contacting us. Thank you for being a part of our wonderful community.”
