It really is all about light, isn’t it? Here a backlit subject (with the sun about 30 degrees to the viewer’s right) makes an ideal position to illuminate subjects as they walk into the light. Often shooting almost directly into the light can give us some surprisingly creative perspectives on what it felt like to be there and see this with our own eyes.
