Meet WWII Naval Aviator Bill Hardy at McP’s in Coronado
Enjoy an afternoon out with friends and family at McP’s Irish Pub and get the chance to meet and talk to 97-year-old WW2 Veteran Bill Hardy. Bill was a Naval Aviator and Hellcat Ace, who shot down five Kamikazes on one day over Okinawa in April 1945. He was with VF-17, which was stationed on the USS Hornet.
Please join Bill on Sunday, March 5 at McP’s Irish Pub, 1107 Orange Ave, Coronado, from 4pm to 6pm, where he will be signing autographs for donations and answering questions about his experiences. Take this opportunity to learn about the amazing stories and support a great cause at the same time.
McP’s Irish Pub will donate 10% of all beverage and food sales between the hours of 4pm to 6pm on Sunday to the World War II History Project.
“Our World War II veterans are dying every day at an alarming rate. This is a rare opportunity to meet one of our last surviving Hellcat aces. Don’t miss the chance to hear his story and thank him for his service,” says Heather Steele, Executive Director of the World War II History Project.
