You don’t need to travel to Mission Valley to learn how to line dance. Coronado’s adult education program offers line dancing on Tuesday evenings at Coronado High School from 5:30-7:30pm. Like music? Learn line dances choreographed to all genre of music – from traditional country songs such as “I Like Beer,” popular songs like “Blurred Lines” or “Happy,” or oldies like “Mustang Sally” or “Gloria.” Dance steps include the Lindy, Cha Cha, Rhumba, and Charleston. Line dancing is a very low impact and fun way to get more exercise.
The beauty of line dancing is you don’t need a partner – singles or couples can all enjoy this fun way to dance. Beginners are very welcome to sign up for the next session that runs from October 20 through December 15. Individuals with two left feet are also encouraged to join.
