The success of the 2010 United Through Reading Storybook Ball will be guided by a group of women from Coronado who are members of the committee which will produce the event on Sunday, November 14 at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine.
United Through Reading is a nonprofit organization that helps deployed militaryparents and others read to their children from afar.

Jeff Kinney, author of the bestselling Diary of A Wimpy Kid series, will serve as the honorary chair of this year’s gala and will be on hand to help honor the USO and USO CEO, Sloan Gibson, as well as title sponsor, Target. At the event, guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction followed by a sumptuous meal, fine wine and an exciting liveauction. Auction items include Pearl Jam lead guitarist Mike McCready’sguitar, signed by the entire band and a three-night stay at the St. RegisPrinceville Resort on Kauai, Hawaii.
