Help 4 Year Old Connor: Fundraisor Event on May 17th

About Connor April 2009, little 4 year old Connor was diagnosed with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma Cancer. This is a cancer of nerve cells. Neuroblastoma can occur anywhere in the body, but it most often occurs in one of the adrenal glands in the tummy. The cause of neuroblastoma is unknown. The only signs & symptoms that were seen was that Connor was not eating & was very tired. On April 21, 2009 Connor’s mom, Linda, took him in for a check up to see why he wasn’t eating and why he had to set down when they played ball. At that appointment his regular doctor told her to take him to get a blood test & chest X-ray. Linda was informed at 3:30 that day, to take Connor to Children’s Hospital. Connor was admitted that evening and has been in the hospital since. Connor’s mom, Linda, quit her job to be by his side while he undergoes treatments. This has put a huge financial strain on the family. Connor is in a clinical trial and will be treated with Chemotherapy, High Dose Chemotherapy with Stem Cell Rescue, Radiotherapy, and surgery to remove the tumors. Treatment is expected to continue for the next twelve months. The Coopers’ financial challenges are urgent and immediate. Please help this family in its time of need.
