Here are some of Brent’s images and a short interview about how he got started:
I first picked up a camera in high school and started having a great time. I took thousands of pictures a year and even thought back then it would be great to do this for a living. I never really got serious about it back then and actually put it down until about four years ago.
Two things happened around the same time that got me interested in it again. We bought a dog (LOL)! He is a very photogenic Vizsla. I wanted to take better action photos of him so I bought some upgraded camera gear to get started.
At the time I was real estate agent. I started using the new equipment to photograph my listings and a few agents around the office started asking me to photograph their listings too. One thing led to another and I went full time into photographing real estate and architecture. Now we have three full time employees and a few part time employees and between us all we photograph almost every category out there.
Brent can output his images on canvas to add a little Coronado to your home.
Coronado is one of my favorite places to photograph for work and play. We are on the island a few times a week photographing properties and while I’m there I shoot images for fine art prints. One of my favorite photos is from the Island which just sold in a gallery. I am very excited about this as my goal is to have a good portion of our business come from fine art prints over the next year. We currently have 50,000 stock images of San Diego from the air and ground. I am working on creating a website for just that part of our business and will be sharing it soon.
Aerial photography is my favorite portion of our business. I go up in a helicopter as often as I can to photograph client projects and create scenic images. One of our top selling images is an aerial image of the entire Island. It was a perfect weather day and a lot of activity in and around the water. You get lucky sometimes and everything just lines up for you.
I’m looking forward to shooting more around Coronado and sharing them with you!
