Marijuana plants seized at Coronado house

Sheriff’s deputies found marijuana plants being grown on a porch and in the garage of a Coronado home Friday during a warrant sweep, and a resident of the house was arrested, authorities said.

Deputies had gone to the house on 8th Street between H and I avenues to arrest James Gordon Duff, 50, on a warrant for violating conditions of his probation for driving under the influence, Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Melissa Aquino said.
