Homecoming Game & Parade this Friday!

Hello eCoronado residents! This Friday, October 28th, be ready for some high school spirit! Coronado High School is celebrating our Homecoming Spirit Week, and we’re ready to share it with you through a parade and football game in which our Homecoming Queen will be crowned.

The Homecoming Parade starts at 3:30 PM after school at Adella and 10th Avenue. We will be judging the floats beforehand, at 3:15 PM, allowing the community to see their placings as the floats pass by. This year, our theme is “Cereal Brands”. The Seniors have chosen the theme “Captain Crunch”. The Juniors have “Lucky Charms”, the Sophomores have “Fruity Pebbles”, and the Freshmen have chosen “Fruit Loops”. The floats will travel down Orange Avenue, and turn left on 7th Avenue, and be parked in the High School’s parking lot for the evening.

At 7:30, we will be having our Homecoming Football game versus Clairemont. During half time, the Homecoming Queen will be announced from the Princesses. Our princesses this year are Courtney West, Katie Centeno, Jenny Cox, Lauren Bower, Cory DeMarco and Nicole Davies. We hope you’ll be looking forward to the parade, game, and crowning of our Homecoming Queen!

Please remind your student that tomorrow is the last day to buy Homecoming Bids!
