Hello Coronado! As you may have seen a video titled “KONY 2012” went viral last night. Facebook pages were covered with people supporting this cause. Joseph Kony is a leader of a vicious army in Uganda, Africa, called the Lords Resistance Army (LRA). Kony flocks villages at night and captures little boys and girls. The boys are mesmerized and brainwashed into believing that killing will be their new way of life. The girls are raped and used as sex slaves in favor of the army leaders. These young children are forced to kill their own parents, and thousands of other children their age. This has gone unnoticed or unheard for 26 years now and there needs to be an end.
On April 20th, Coronado will take a stand and come together as one to support this cause.
