The recent article in the San Diego Union Tribune reiterates what many have known: That CUSD has benefited from strong leadership. The Board started cutting years before other school districts to stay ahead of the budget curve.
If you listen to some opponents, they cry mismanagement when the opposite is true.
They cry deception when transparency is actually what is being provided.
They cite past issues (the pool) without acknowledging the success in turning that situation around.
The opponents don’t seem to care about the whole story but rather only the parts that seem to help their case by not providing the whole story.
They remind me a an old three stooges photo.
