Arrests Made in Connection with August Stabbing

Three people were arrested and charged in connection with a stabbing that occurred on August 26, 2017, in the 300 block of G Avenue. Arrest warrants were issued last week for Corwin Keys, Jacob Brown and Michelle Fernandez. Fernandez turned herself in directly to the jail and was released this morning. Brown and Keys were arrested and transported to San Diego Central Jail this afternoon.

This is an ongoing investigation. There were several people in the area when this crime occurred. We are asking anyone who may have witnessed the stabbing to call Detective Amy Beebe at (619) 522-7356.

Suspect (1): Jacob Brown, of Coronado, D.O.B. 04/9/1988
(1) PC 661/187 Attempted Murder
(2) PC 245 (A)(1) Assault with a Deadly Weapon other than Firearm
Bail: $500,000

Suspect (2): Corwin Keys, of USS Carl Vinson, D.O.B. 01/13/1986
(1) PC 245 (A)(1) Assault with a Deadly Weapon other than Firearm
Bail: $50,000

Suspect (3): Michelle Fernandez, of Coronado, 04/27/1976
(1) PC 32 Accessory After the Fact
