Free Family Movie Night

Join the Islander Ladies Club for a free family movie night in Spreckels Park to kick off the Coronado Flower Show.

Islander Ladies ClubLocally founded Islander Ladies Club (ILC) announces the 3rd annual Family Movie Night in Spreckels Park at the 2017 Coronado Flower Show on April 7, featuring the newly released animated film Sing. The ILC invite participants in the Children’s Section of the Flower Show to drop off their entries in exchange for a family admission ticket to the free movie showing at 7pm. It will be a family fun evening inside the Flower Show tents filled with music, food and the movie Sing playing on the big screen.

ILC Movie Night scheduleThe day before the Flower Show officially starts, the Floral Association opens the tent to the public from 4-6pm for entry drop off. ILC created a family night in coordination with this entry drop off and the children’s section participants. Families are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and picnic dinners. Music and fun will begin at 6pm. Movie showing at 7pm. Admission is free to families with a child entering in the flower show. Tickets will be given at the Children’s Exhibit as entries are handed in. Space is limited to the first 400 people.

ILC movie night High Tide specialsDuring the entry hours and 15 minutes prior to the end of the movie the Beer and Wine Garden will be open for locally crafted beer and wine to purchase. All proceeds of the Beer and Wine Garden go to support the Coronado Flower Show. Movie eats and treats will be available for purchase at the food pavilion courtesy of the Coronado Aquatic Boosters Club. In addition, local restaurants will be partnering with ILC to offer for-purchase take-away picnic dinners at special pricing for the event.
