The Coronado Police Department would like to thank the citizens of Coronado and the Coronado community for its outpouring of support since the tragic events Thursday, July 7th in Dallas that took the lives of 5 officers. Our officers have been approached on the streets to thank them for their service and others have stopped in to show their appreciation. It is incredibly heartwarming to be so well received. The men and women of this Department strive to offer excellent community service and it is gratifying to know they have had such a positive impact. I want to personally thank the citizens of Coronado for your support and to let you know you are greatly appreciated.
