On Saturday, November 16th at 10:15am, UCSD’s Computer Science and Engineering Society (CSES) will provide an introductory lesson in coding to students in grades 6-12 at the Coronado Public Library. This group introduces students to introductory lessons in programming and helps them gain hands-on experience with the resources and tools used for a university-level education. CSES Outreach is a branch of the CSES at UCSD. Their mission is to provide opportunities for students in the San Diego area to discover and learn more about computer science.
Middle and high school students who are interested can sign up in person or by calling 619-522-7390. Advance registration is required as space is limited. Lunch will be provided. This event is free and open to all middle and high school students.
