25th Annual CMS 6th Grade Olympics – May 17

The Coronado Middle School’s 25th Annual Sixth Grade Olympics will be held Thursday, May 17th, 2018 from 8am to 3pm on the Coronado High School Niedermeyer Football Field. This is a fun and exciting day for students as they compete in a real life, simulated summer Olympic event while learning about Ancient Greece, physical fitness, teamwork, skill performance, and goal setting. Students will participate in an Olympic opening ceremony and then compete in three competitive athletic events throughout the day.

On May 9th, CHS alumni Jesse Smith, three-time Olympian, CHS Water Polo Player/CIF three-time Champion, and Pan Am Gold Medalist, spoke to the CMS 6th graders and they are amped for their event on Thursday.
