Golden, sweet, and treasured for thousands of years, honey has flavored feasts, medicines, celebrations, and legends around the world. Storyteller Marilyn McPhie, an enthusiastic participant in the “Spice It Up, Coronado” program, will share the folklore, history, and delightful lore surrounding honey — from sacred honey cakes and ancient remedies to tales of abundance, sweetness, and temptation.
