Sharp HospiceCare Benefit Regatta
August 21 - August 22
The annual Sharp HospiceCare Benefit Dinner and Regatta returns to San Diego Bay Aug. 21-22. Hosted by Sharp HospiceCare, the Coronado Yacht Club, and the Cortez Racing Association, the two-day fundraiser begins with a dinner, dancing, and live auction on Friday, followed by the regatta on Saturday, when guests can watch the race from yachts on the bay. Proceeds support Sharp HospiceCare’s services for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Pre-Race Event – Friday, August 21, 6 p.m.
USS Midway, 910 N Harbor Dr, San Diego, CA 92101
Tickets: $350; includes full-course dinner, dancing, and silent auction
The event is OUTSIDE on the Flight Deck
Race and Spectator Yacht Seating – Saturday, Aug. 22, 10:30 a.m.
Coronado Yacht Club, 1631 Strand Way, Coronado, CA 92118
Tickets: $200; includes yacht reservation, lunch, refreshments, and post-race dinner party
The race portion of the event starts on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the east end of Harbor Island, winding around San Diego Bay and finishing near the Coronado Yacht Club.
