“Magnetic” Opening Reception

Students from Coronado High School and Coronado School of the Arts will open their spring exhibition “Magnetic” on April 14, 2022 at the Coronado Community Center. The Opening Reception will be held from 6-7:30 pm in the Nautilus Room, and the public is welcome to attend and celebrate with the artists.

The exhibition of artwork represents a crossover of CoSA Visual Arts and the CHS Portfolio and AP Art classes. Student artists have developed original ideas for their work under the guidance and instruction of Laura Hill and Karrie Jackson.

In addition to the original works, the exhibition also includes master studies of California Impressionist, Edgar Payne, as well as works of Life Drawing, Portrait, and Figure Studies.

“Magnetic” will run through April 30th in the C3 Gallery in the Coronado Community Center.
