URT Salty Claus

HO HO HOURT Salty Claus

Christmas in Southern California is always a special and confusing time. Rolling around on beach cruisers, in shorts, drinking iced coffee as we check the surf, and sweating in our forced ugly Christmas sweaters. Here, the temperature of the water is our only indication of winter. The closest thing we can get to snow is our frigid Pacific Ocean. How else would we ever conjure up images of chestnuts roasting or a white Christmas?  And who the heck is this Frosty?

Whether you’re naughty or nice, the Santas are coming. Join URT and the amphibiously inclined this Christmas Eve in our annual URT SALTY CLAUS: Santa Costume Surf. Help us turn the frigid pacific red by dressing up in your holiday inspired surf get-up for a truly sandy Christmas experience. From 9:30 to 11:30, on Saturday, December 24th, a sea of Santa will pour into the waters of Shipwrecks Beach in Coronado marking the 6th Annual URT SALTY CLAUS. Join us and be merry. We will jolly up your belly with free donuts, coffee & cocoa.
