Opportunities for Fourth of July 2017

The Fourth of July celebration seems like just yesterday, and as we gear up for the winter holidays, the next Fourth seems far away. But the Coronado Fourth of July Committee is already hard at work planning for 2017.

By Coronado Fourth of July Committee

In Coronado, the 4th of July is a year-round adventure.  The Coronado Fourth of July Committee is in the process of gearing up for the 2017 celebration.  As a way of kicking off our planning, we would like to reiterate our thanks to our sponsors from this past July whose generosity makes the events a reality.

We would like to thank some of the local organizations and businesses that enhanced the celebration: The City of Coronado for their generosity over the years in helping make sure the celebration takes place. For sponsoring an Announcer Station, we would like to thank the Coronado Brewing Company, Tartine Café, Dr. Electric, Berkshire Hathaway Realty, Lee Mather/Ascent Realty, the Rotary Club of Coronado, and McP’s Irish Pub.

Some of those organizations and businesses have been supporting the day for over ten years and the Committee and our spectators appreciate that. The newest donor to help fund the celebration is the Port of San Diego.  We truly appreciate their generous support and hope they will be able to back the celebration for many more years.

The cost of the day’s celebration is about $65,000.  If you would like to contribute to make 2017’s Independence Day activities outshine past years, please send your contributions to:american flag
