The Carrie Downey for Mayor 2016 team reports that Carrie has been endorsed as the best candidate to become the 51st Mayor of the City of Coronado by all three living Coronado mayors:
- 50th Coronado Mayor Casey Tanaka, Mayor from 2008-2016
- 49th Coronado Mayor Tom Smisek 1996-2008 and
- 48th Coronado Mayor Mary Herron 1988-1996
Carrie is humbled by, and deeply appreciates, the trust Coronado’s past mayors have in her long-time commitment to Coronado and our residents’ needs that has prepared her to successfully lead the city.
