Islander Baseball wants to invite the community out for Senior Day at the Sand Lot (field behind Silver Strand Elementary School) today, Monday, May 16th to help us recognize the departing 2016 Islander Baseball team senior class. Monday‘s game will be last regular season game for seniors (pictured from left to right) Dan Wilson, Tom Holman, Josh Leaser, Zach Weller, Jack Harris, Chris Cummins, Dylan Lektorich, Dominic Irigoyen, Micheal Butcher, Clark Fahrenthold, and Greg Gonzalez.
Most of these seniors have played together for more than 10 years beginning in Coronado Little League. The Islanders record stands at 24 – 5 on the season and a victory today will give them the Central League Championship. Please come out and support the team and wish our seniors well. Senior Day recognition will be before the game starting at 3:10 with first pitch at 3:30.
