Disappointed with Holiday Changes at the Del

It was so disappointing to see the holiday changes at the Del which have excluded An American Christmas after 20+ years. This was a holiday tradition for me and many others and an incentive to come to Coronado at Christmas time. In speaking with the manager of the Del about this, I was told Winter Wonderland would be held in the courtyard, and while this sounds like fun, An American Christmas could still have been scheduled in the Grand Ballroom.  It’s always fun to have more than one event to attend while on a holiday trip.

I am still trying to understand the reason why An American Christmas was scuttled. Coronado and the Del will miss out on my lodging, shopping, eating and event attending while I take my holiday tradition elsewhere.
