Shredding & E-Waste event, and Pick-a-Pumpkin

Gather outdated documents, safely recycle your e-waste, and take home a beautifully decorated pumpkin while supporting our community.

Coronado Woman’s Club (CWC) members recently gathered to decorate pumpkins which will be available for purchase at the CWC Shredding & E-Waste Fundraiser on Saturday, October 10, from 10 am to 12 pm at the US Bank parking lot on D Avenue, near 8th Street.

Safely drop off paper documents ($8/bag suggested donation) and electronic waste such as computers, cords, batteries, and phones, and take home a one-of-a-kind pumpkin to add to your fall decor. Pumpkins will be priced according to size, and proceeds will be used to support CWC’s philanthropic work in the community.

CWC is celebrating its 80th year and will culminate in March with special events. Shredding events are one of the club’s significant fundraisers with donations raised supporting the community through philanthropic and educational programs, supporting local organizations, and providing scholarships for graduating Coronado High seniors.

CWC thanks Blue Bridge Hospitality for underwriting this community fundraiser as well as hosting the monthly luncheons at Stake. To learn more about CWC, visit https://coronadowomansclub.org/
