Peyton Herlihy stand with great grandmother Phyllis O’Toole-Mather at last year’s Memorial Day. Phyllis’ husband, Ensign Austin Edward O’Toole, died while landing his plane aboard the USS Coral Sea in 1954, leaving behind a widow with five children.
