The Coronado Cultural Arts Commission is pleased to invite the entire Coronado creative community to take advantage of a free profile page and listing on the new community arts calendar website, CoronadoARTS.com, which is scheduled to officially launch this month.

CoronadoARTS.com is the leading online resource for Arts & Cultural information in Coronado. A service of the City of Coronado’s Cultural Arts Commission, this site is intended to provide wide-spread, easily available “one-stop” information on events, classes, lectures, and exhibitions representing the full spectrum of cultural activities designed for cultural enthusiasts of all age.

Additionally, the site provides a rich content experience including information on the Coronado Cultural Arts Commission, our local arts and cultural organizations and individual artist and creative community directory profiles, image galleries, and video clips. As an added benefit, you’ll find listings which support our cultural industry including jobs, auditions, and volunteer opportunities and how to support the arts with your donations.

The site provides a FREE directory profile page for Coronado artists of every discipline, and may include a personal photo, an approximate 350-word artist’s statement, up to 8 digital photos; a video clip, if you have one, and website/contact information for yourself. Whether a professional or emerging artist we encourage you to use this dynamic new site as a marketing tool and way to promote your work.

The website is currently in “soft launch” mode, and is set to officially launch publicly at the Coronado Arts Forum June 20. Under broad directory titles of Visual Arts, Crafts, Theatre/Music/Dance, Digital Media/Film, Arts Education/Educators and Literature, the following are part of the search feature: ARTIST DISCIPLINES: Calligraphy, Ceramics, Digital Art/Media, Drawing, Glass, Illustration, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Murals, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Textile/Fiber Art, Trompe L’oeil, Woodworking; and CREATIVE INDUSTRIES: Actor, Choreographer, Composer, Dancer, Director, Educator, Film Maker, Graphic design, Mime, Musician, Performance artist, Poet, Singer, Set Design, Sound/Recording Engineer, Special Effects, Storytelling, Video/DVD, Visual affects artist, Voice over, Writer
