Online Editor Position Available (Update: Position Filled)

We have an immediate opening for an Online Editor


This is a paid position.  We are looking for a professional that has experience with editing, journalism, managing writers and/or online publications.

Hours: 15 hours per week (flexible, work at home)

Location: Coronado 


  • Editing articles / featuring content
  • Managing writers, deadlines
  • Pitching/assigning stories / managing workflow
  • Respond to community feedback and questions
  • Compile two weekly newsletters
  • Administer writer meetings


  • Excellent editing and writing skills
  • Experience with Constant Contact or similar email platform
  • Ability to critique and provide constructive criticism
  • Be able to manage team of writers to get the best content in timely manner
  • Solid communication skills
  • Willingness to learn quickly and have an entrepreneurial spirit
  • A strong passion and love for the community of Coronado
