DESCRIPTION:Image: URT Dig\n2026 URT DIG SIGN UP \nHoly Moley! \nThe URT DIG is back as part of the 10th year celebration of life of our dear friend Charlie Keating. The event will take place on Sunday\, May 3 in Coronado at Dog Beach starting at 1:30 PM. Please show up at 1:00 to check in and sign your waiver. \nThe day will mark the 10 year anniversary since Charlie’s passing and kicks off the “Live Heavy Weekend.” All proceeds from the event will be donated to the C4 Foundation. \nThe rules are quite simple. Each contestant will be generously given 10 minutes to dig as deep as they can. Holes will be immediately measured and the winners will be announced upon conclusion of all three digging divisions. We are excited to have our friend Jonathan Wayne Freeman (@jonathanwaynefreeman) as the MC. \nPLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SHOVEL. \nKIDS MUST DIG WITH PLASTIC SHOVELS. \nThe URT DIG features four Digvisions. \n\n\nPLASTIC: 12 Years and younger. Plastic Shovels Only. 1:30PM start \n\n\nMETAL:  Your shovel\, your choice. 2:00PM start \n\n\nHANDS: Hands only! 2:30PM start. \n\n\nPAWS: Dog division. 3:00 PM start \n\n\nHistory:\nCharlie won the URT Dig in 2013 and was runner up in 2014 in the Metal Digvision. His winning golden shovel adorns the walls of one of Coronado’s more anonymous watering holes.
