DESCRIPTION:Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection is held the second and fourth Saturday of each month\, from 9 am to 2 pm at the Public Services Facility\, located at 101 B Avenue\, and is available to Coronado residents only. No business or contractor-generated waste is permitted. \nHousehold products containing toxic chemicals become hazardous waste when you decide to dispose of them. Never throw hazardous products in the trash\, as the toxic chemicals may harm the environment and sanitation workers\, and start fires in trash trucks. Never pour hazardous products into a sink or storm drain. It is dangerous and they will end up in our environment polluting the air\, water and soil. The City of Coronado’s HHW program is available so that all residents in the community can safely dispose of their toxic\, hazardous waste. \nMore details HERE.

The book tells the story of Naval Special Warfare Boat Units — from the Boat Support Units of the 1960s prowling the coast of North Vietnam and the waterways of the Mekong Delta to today’s Special Boat Teams in action around the world — with some background on maritime special operations since Colonial times. Published by the Combatant Craft Crewman Association\, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving the history and honoring our veterans. \n

This smash musical hit is a fascinating look at that night and how they and their music would change American culture forever. Featuring: Bret Benowitz\, Michael Louis Cusimano\, Ben Van Diepen\, Charles Evans Jr.\, Katie Sapper\, and Lance Arthur Smith. \nTickets range from $24 to $68\, depending on the seating section and day of the week. Discounts are available for seniors (66+) and veterans. Half-price tickets are available for youth (ages 5 to 17)\, young adults (18 to 34) and active duty military. \nShowings are Wednesday\, Thursday and Friday at 7pm; Saturday at 4pm and 8pm; Sunday at 2pm. \nLamb’s Players Theatre operates under the Health Protocol set by Actors Equity\, the union of theatre performers. To help ensure safety and well-being in the current pandemic environment\, all our theatre staff\, cast and crew members are fully vaccinated. All our Usher Teams are required to be fully vaccinated as well. In 2003\, the City of Coronado and community members developed the Orange Avenue Corridor Specific Plan to “provide a policy and regulatory bridge between the city of Coronado General Plan and individual\, project-level development.” The City Council approved the Specific Plan in 2004 after multiple community workshops and citizen involvement and have made amendments to the plan through 2014. According to Chapter VI\, the Commercial Zone Design Criteria\, “the purpose of the design criteria is to protect the special identity of the commercial areas of Coronado\,” in particular\, the special “village” character. \nThe forum will be led by Phil Monroe and other members of the Orange Avenue Corridor Specific Plan Committee who will discuss the development and history of the plan. \n
