DESCRIPTION:The CoSA Instrumental Music Fall Recital will be taking place on Monday\, September 28 at 6 pm in the Black Box Theatre at 650 D Avenue. \nThe recital will feature a string quintet\, jazz ensemble\, woodwind trio\, saxophone trio\, and an all-new brass quintet. Several solo pianists will also be featured. The CoSA Instrumental Music Conservatory emphasizes the study of classical and jazz music. Students receive intensive training in their chosen instruments in wind\, percussion\, brass\, jazz and string. Students also study music theory\, ear training\, jazz theory and improvisation\, electronic music skills\, composition and orchestration. \nCoSA Instrumental Music. Students play piano\, drums\, violin\, viola\, cello\, saxophone\, electric guitar\, tuba\, trombone or any other instrument they desire to learn. DESCRIPTION:The Coronado Democratic Club will welcome the League of Women Voters of San Diego on Saturday\, October 3\, for a special presentation examining the state propositions and local measures appearing on the November 3 ballot. \nGina Gianzero of the League of Women Voters of San Diego will present a nonpartisan overview designed to help voters better understand the measures they will be asked to consider in November. \nFor each proposition and measure\, the presentation will examine what the measure would do\, how it would change existing law\, who benefits\, potential costs and who would pay them\, as well as who supports and opposes the measure\, and who is funding the campaigns on each side. \nThe program will be held at the Coronado Boathouse\, 1985 Strand Way\, overlooking Glorietta Bay. \nDoors will open at 10:30 a.m. for the Coronado Democratic Club’s customary social gathering\, with the League of Women Voters presentation beginning at 11 a.m. The program will conclude at approximately 12:30 p.m. \nAttendees are encouraged to bring any election materials they have received from the San Diego County Registrar of Voters or the California Secretary of State so they can follow along during the presentation. \nThe League of Women Voters provides voters with nonpartisan information and analysis about ballot measures. The October 3 presentation will give Coronado voters an opportunity to learn more about the propositions and measures they will see on the November ballot as they prepare to vote.

She has managed the Longmont Humane Society’s volunteer photography program for the past 15 years\, during which time she has photographed over 4\,000 animals\, accelerating their adoption in the local community. As someone who began her career in the pre-digital era\, she has an abiding interest in photo restoration\, digital archiving\, and historical preservation. In her free time\, you can usually find her browsing antique stores for old photographs\, hiking the beautiful Colorado trails\, reading\, or spending time with family. Marsha lives with her husband\, Ray Agostinelli\, a technology professional and creative writer\, in Boulder\, CO.
