SUMMARY:Bike the Bay
DESCRIPTION:Bike the Bay Rolls into its 19th year on Sunday\, August 23 \nSan Diego’s summer cycling tradition will have waves of riders departing Embarcadero Marina Park South from 6:30 – 8 am. Riders have the rare opportunity to pedal across the San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge and experience the beauty of the Bayshore Bikeway on a fully supported\, non-competitive ride. \nA fundraiser for the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition\, the ride highlights the region’s commitment to active transportation\, community connection\, and scenic exploration. Bike the Bay: Your Way\, with three ride length options: \n25-mile route\n\nThe traditional 25-mile route winds through five vibrant cities and along San Diego’s stunning waterfront;\nThe 50-mile route makes the same loop twice\, providing avid riders two opportunities to enjoy the views and vibes;\nThe 5-mile route turns off immediately after the bridge and includes a return ferry ticket.\n\n5-Miler\, aka: Just the Bridge\nWith three ways to bike the bay\, it’s perfect for casual riders\, families\, and experienced cyclists alike.
