Sharp Coronado Hospital will present “Music for Wellness” on Thursday\, August 15\, from 2-3 p.m. \nA music therapist from Sharp Coronado Hospital will lead this interactive\, free presentation. According to Sharp’s Arts for Healing webpage\, “Music therapy can help reduce pain and anxiety\, improve well-being\, and promote personal reflection.” Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a group music-making activity using hand-played percussion instruments. No previous experience is needed for this enjoyable and informative session. \nThere is no fee for registration\, but the Spreckels Center staff recommend signing up to ensure ample seating.
