SUMMARY:Public Safety Personnel to Host Brief 9/11 Remembrance
DESCRIPTION:Coronado Firefighters\, Police\, Lifeguards and local military personnel are set to gather at Fire Station 36 early on the morning of Sunday\, Sept. 11\, for a brief 9/11 memorial ceremony. Coronado’s first responders will mark the attacks of that day starting at 6:53 am with an invocation\, a moment of silence and a symbolic ringing of the station’s bell. The ceremony\, which will conclude with bagpipes\, is an opportunity to remember the nearly 3\,000 people who died in the terrorist attacks. \n
