Registrants will pick up the monthly spice/herb selection at the library\, cook with it\, and join other food enthusiasts to talk about what they made and their thoughts about the spice. The meeting will be held on Zoom on Friday\, September 23 at 2 pm. Once registered\, participants will receive instructions on how to pick up a spice packet for the Spice It Up\, Coronado program. The Zoom link will be emailed the day before we meet. Only one registrant per household\, please. Please register at cplevents.org.\n\nThis month we will have a special guest speaker\, local cookbook author Stephanie Weaver. \nWeaver will take us on a tour of her favorite spice — smoked paprika — and share five recipes from her books The Migraine Relief Plan and The Migraine Relief Plan Cookbook. She’ll explain what goes into developing and testing a recipe that’s cookbook-worthy. She’ll also take us behind the scenes of the cookbook production process\, including food photography and design. \nWeaver is also a speaking coach based in Oceanside.
