Film expert Ralph DeLauro provides a brief introduction to each film and leads a discussion afterwards\, often including pointers about how lighting or camera angles contribute to a scene’s mood or propel the story. \nMarch 25: The Birds (1963\, PG-13\, 119 min) \nAlfred Hitchcock’s elaborate tease bristles with terror as the peaceful town of Bodega Bay descends into chaos when a massive avian onslaught attacks without warning. A bored socialite (Tippi Hedren) and a self-righteous lawyer (Rod Taylor) are thrust into the thick of mother nature’s revolt. With Suzanne Pleshette\, Jessica Tandy and Veronica Cartwright. \nPLEASE NOTE this film will take place on the fourth Wednesday of the month.
