DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, July 9th\, the Coronado Democratic Club is sponsoring a forum and panel discussion on The Current State of Public Education in America. \nSince four of the five seats on the Coronado Unified School District Board of Trustees are on the November ballot\, it is important voters know which issues impacting public education are real and which are fictional. \nThe moderator will be Brian Trotier. Our panelists are Peter Bolland (Southwestern College)\, Darshana Patel (Board Member\, Poway Unified School District)\, Casey Tanaka (CUSD Faculty Member and current City Council Member)\, and Jennifer Landry (CUSD Faculty Member and ATC President). \nSpread the word to your friends and neighbors\, regardless of their politics. This topic is so important that we want as much public participation as possible. \nThe forum is open to all members of the Coronado community and admission is free.
