Priestley’s landmark play\, this twisty\, supernatural mystery is a savage satire on high-brow British socialites. Like a moral whirlwind\, the enigmatic\, superbly insinuating Inspector Poole (Alastair Sim) interrupts a pampered family’s dinner party to question their links to a suspected suicide.
