Sensory Storytime

An inclusive storytime for children ages 0-8. There will be songs, stories, felt activities, and fingerplays for a sensory experience. This engaging storytime is designed especially for children on the Autism spectrum. Kids will be told what to expect and the Ruby Room lighting will be dimmer than usual, all to allow them to focus on the program. A cozy corner in the room will be designated for anyone needing to take a break.

The San Diego Shakespeare Society will hold its monthly reading in the Winn Room on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm. We'll be reading Hamlet, Part I. You can bring your own text, borrow one from the Library or bring the text up on your phone. Shakespeare was meant to be read aloud--join us to participate or just listen.
