DESCRIPTION:Bulky trash in a Coronado alley May 2024 / The Coronado Times\nThe City of Coronado will provide a free bulky waste pickup beginning on Monday\, October 13\, on residents’ regularly scheduled collection day.  Items must be placed at the curb by 6 am alongside regular waste carts. Acceptable items include furniture\, mattresses\, broken appliances\, water heaters\, yard waste\, and other oversized household items. \nEDCO residential service schedule.\nPlease note that household hazardous waste will not be collected and should be taken to the City’s Household Hazardous Waste facility during scheduled drop-off days. \n

DESCRIPTION:Sharp Coronado Hospital will hold three free flu shot* clinics in October. Drive-up\, bike-up\, or walk-up to get your flu shot. The shots will be administered by\, and in partnership with\, Southwestern College nursing students. \nPhoto courtesy of Sharp HealthCare\, taken at a previous event.\nThe events will take place on Monday\, Oct. 13\, Tuesday\, Oct. 14\, and Tuesday\, Oct. 28. All events are from 8 am to 4 pm* on the west side of the hospital\, 255 Soledad Place\, near the Sandermann Auditorium. \nAn annual flu shot has been shown to help prevent or reduce the severity of the influenza virus. The flu vaccine is recommended every year\, beginning in October. \n* While supplies last. Standard dose vaccine.
