Let’s show ‘em how good we are! \nMatches will include: \n\nMen’s 3.0-3.5 Doubles\nMen’s 4.0-4.5 Doubles\nWomen’s 3.0-3.5 Doubles\nWomen’s 4.0-4.5 Doubles\nMixed 8.0 Doubles\nMixed 7.0 Doubles\n\nWinners will get a special prize as well as their names on the “CROWN CUP” trophy proudly displayed in the Coronado Tennis Center Clubhouse. \nAll contestants will be assured of at least two matches. DESCRIPTION:Come and meet the artists and curator of the Dia de los Muertos Ofrenda exhibit. Light refreshments will be provided. \nThe Dia de los Muertos Ofrenda exhibit will run Sept. 1 through Nov. 17 at the Coronado Public Library. An artist’s reception will be held on Sept. 15 from 2 to 4 pm in the Spreckels Reading Room. \nAn ofrenda (Spanish: “offering”) is the offering placed in a home altar during the annual and traditionally Mexican Día de los Muertos celebration. An ofrenda\, which may be quite large and elaborate\, is usually created by the family members of a person who has died and is intended to welcome the deceased to the altar setting.
